Training Salary: £21,500 per annum pro rata - rising to £23,572 pro rata on completion of training or proven experience .

Citizens Advice Broxtowe is a busy district wide advice service based over 2 offices in Beeston & Eastwood. We are seeking a trainee candidate who can demonstrate they have the capacity and drive to undertake comprehensive learning in order to provide debt support, money advice and financial capability advice to our clients. It is an exciting role helping people, often those at greatest risk of vulnerability, to identify debt solutions.

  • Ideally, you will have a background working with clients in a financial setting; and be willing to work towards becoming a qualified Debt Relief Order Intermediary and obtaining the IMA certification.
  • What's really important is your ability to absorb information and put into practice what you've learned. You will be a stickler for detail, accuracy and efficiency. You will have a high standard of written English and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • A good attitude to hard work, enjoying learning and being able to take constructive feedback are a must. There will be targets to meet and caseloads to manage.
  • You could be located in either office and travel will be expected between offices, a hybrid model of some home working may be negotiable.
