Citizens Advice Portsmouth has delivered the Help to Claim service since service launch
with a small team of advisers via telephone, webchat, and face-to-face channels.

Following year 4 of the service, we have grown to over 10.5 FTE, consisting
or 15 advisers across various work patterns, across the UK.

Our team is responsible for advising and assisting new claimants of Universal Credit, up
until their first payment. The service is delivered by telephone and web chat as part of the national Help to Claim service.

As a HTC Quality & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that
our team provides high quality advice to clients to answer their queries around new
Universal Credit claims. To do this, you’ll complete timely case checking, quality of advice
reviews, and supervision of advisers. You will join a team of two other supervisors.
The role is available either remotely, hybrid, or office based. The role is fixed term with a
possibility for extension, subject to funding. Part of the role is to be based during office
hours to ensure supervision availability, but much of the role can be completed on a
flexible basis around your availability.

To apply, please email [email protected] with a CV and covering letter explaining how you meet the responsibilities set out in the job description. The position will close on recruitment of a suitable candidate. Please do get in touch with any questions about the role.
