Self-isolating because of coronavirus

This advice applies to England

The government have ended the laws about self-isolating. They still recommend you self-isolate if you test positive for coronavirus.

If you test positive for coronavirus

The government recommend you self-isolate until you test negative 2 days in a row - this should be at least 5 days after you first tested positive.

You can check how to self-isolate on the NHS website.

If you’re worried about money because you can’t work

You can check what payments and benefits you can get if you have to self-isolate.
